Marc "walks the talk" – This is my most succinct as well as my most powerful compliment of Marc Voit.
My credentials are that I have been a health/fitness enthusiast most of my life, joined my first health club in 1981 and have belonged to 11 clubs (US, England and Australia) since that time. I have also completed marathons in running, down hill skiing and cycling.
All these experience have put me in contact with a lot of great athletes and coaches. Hands down, Marc Voit is best of them all in both categories. Marc incorporates in a pragmatic manner all the life forces/energies (physical, nutritional, mental and spiritual) contributing to an athlete’s performance.
Marc is fiercely competitive in his own personal athletic pursuits. He is equally passionate about his commitment to helping others reach their goals. However, he is incredibly patient and realistic in dealing with those who are not at his level of health and fitness.
Marc continuously studies the science of his trade and shares that knowledge with those who are interested. I am honored and privileged having Marc as a coach and friend.

"Thanks to Marc, our fitness and training have reached a new level. After less than 2 years,
we have seen a huge improvement in our health, fitness, and performance. Marc has great insight
in nutrition and training. Whether it's an in depth talk or a quick tip, we've come to know that
it is important and makes a difference. Thanks Marc! Your hard work has made our training fun
and our lives so much better!"

"After taking 7 years off from competition, I decided in 2003 to begin training again for triathlons. I found the 2003 season challenging for although I worked out somewhat regularly, I was nowhere near racing shape. I competed in 2 events, winning my age group in one and winning the Masters overall in the other. But in the second event, I tore my right calf. After 8 weeks of rehab, I decided it was time to train right. That was when Marc approached me about the possibility of training with him. What a present from God! I jumped on the chance immediately.
After only 1 month, I have seen major improvements in aerobic capacity, power and endurance. While the total number of workout hours were roughly equivalent to what I was previously doing, the workouts forced me to monitor my heart rate in every workout, thereby making my workouts “smarter”. By keeping me in my aerobic range, I found my endurance increase and my recovery times lessen. In addition, although still injured, I found that I could continue to workout without breaking down my calf and achilles injuries. In fact, I found that my injuries were continuing to heal and my leg was getting stronger. This lead to a positive mindset regarding the next workout. Rather than questioning whether I could make it through the pain of the next workout, I found myself more than ready to start it, pain-free, and finish out those remaining in the week.
As part of the package, I chose to try the Juice+ products. I highly recommend this path. I have been a nutritional supplement advocate and user for years. However, after taking the Juice+ products for only a week, I found my energy level increase dramatically. I felt more energized and focused for my morning workouts.
Marc’s program provides not only the physical training program but also a focus on nutritional requirements for athletes. I have found his nutritional lectures informative and supported by science. Furthermore, his recommendations produce results. By following his nutritional guidelines, I have found increased endurance during workouts and my recovery time cut in half.
In order to get to the next level, I needed some new equipment. When I asked Marc what to buy, to look for and where to start, he was a wonderful source of information and a walking rolodex for numbers of vendors. I have never found purchasing major equipment so easy. Marc not only provides you with his recommendations but also provides you with websites so that you can do your own research and form your own opinion.
Overall, Marc is truly a wonderful coach, athlete and person. I highly recommend him and his program."

As a life long serious exerciser, I have taken many classes with a plethora of fitness instructors. Without a doubt, Marc Voit’s spinning class is the best-organized and most efficient workout I have ever taken. Not only does he push you to your physical limits, but he also dispenses nutrition and fitness tips that could be understood and appreciated from the beginning exerciser to the competitive athlete.
As a matter of fact I used Marc’s spinning class for base training in completing the Rachel Carson 34 mile one-day run/hike. I improved my results significantly from the first year I completed the contest. Not only was this a result of better physical conditioning, but also from the knowledge Marc taught me on nutrition and race day preparation. Thanks Marc!!

" I set a goal 2 years ago to complete a Marathon prior to turning 40. The first race was Pittsburgh and the goal was to finish around 3:30 and feel good after the race. I accomplished the goal with a 3:37 and set my sights on qualifying for The Boston Marathon with a sub 3:20 time.
I joined Marc for his weekly ride and run sessions to increase my training and accomplish the new goal. The weekly workouts and added crosstraining were a great combination. Marc does a great job of motivating the group to push for your individual goals and to step out of your comfort zone, I reached a new level of fitness.
I accomplished my goal and will run Boston this April, Thanks for the help Marc."

Marc has been a great resource for me. He got me started in triathlons as a complete novice three years ago and helped me progress much faster than I ever could have on my own. He helped guide me on everthing from equipment and training to nutrition and injury prevention and many things in between. Having my own personal professional training me was especially helpful because he knew my capabilities, goals, race schedule, etc. and would customize my training schedule accordingly and offer helpful advice along the way. Another great help is that Marc actually does a bike and run workout with his athletes every week which teaches a lot of things that we just could not get otherwise. Marc has been been a great coach and friend who has helped make participating in triathlons more successful and fun.
